Oriflame

For its new office Oriflame has chosen beautiful and unusual premises with an atrium. Floods of natural light are an impressive architectural solution, but in case the sunlight fall on monitor screens, it can hinder a lot the employees’ work. A thorough pre-project study and analysis of the company’s business processes helped find an optimal solution both regarding the office design use and the staff’s efficiency.

Workstations zone
Open space was meant for the work of employees from various departments: lawyers, accountants, marketing managers, sales managers, etc. Their working processes differ considerably, therefore when designing the office a special attention was focused on tuning the balance between privacy and a possibility for the employees’ communications within some department and with other services. The ultimate solution to this task was a cluster system and transitional screens. All workplaces, where possible, were arranged sideways to sources of light and equipped with protective shields. In some cases the protective function is fulfilled by Tower® personal cabinets.

Private offices
To ensure the comfortable and efficient work of directors and chief managers their private offices are equipped with highly productive comfortable workstations “Everything at Hand”. In each private office there were created roomy and functional storage systems, as well as briefing zones for communicating with guests and employees.

Archive zones and aisles
Since depending on the working processes nature the storage maximum bulk is within workstations, the archive zone is small and is located in passageways. Medium-high cabinets with sling or rolling doors do not impede a sufficient daylight.

Final project

We are very much obliged to your company for our office equipment! All our guests remark it has become more stylish and cozy, and indeed our employees work quicker and better. At the turn of last years we were in search of office furniture for our new office. However, with relation to design and quality Western Europe’s furniture only seemed to satisfy our requirements, but its price was well beyond our appropriated budget. We were about ready to revise our requirements, when an Orgspace booklet fell into our hands.
We liked the furniture and got interested by Orgspace’s approach to designing. During their presentation we changed our conception of what an office should be like. We understood in particular that with furniture we can actually influence the quality of our employees’ activity. That is why, having corrected our objectives, we turned to Orgspace’s partner, New European Company, with a request to work out a project for us.
For the project defense they brought in our office prototype models or workstations designed specially for our employees. We appreciated the well-thought-out and very comfortable workplaces, and, having analyzed the entire planning concept we were convinced in the real efficiency of the suggested solutions.
